This is Rooby.

She's a real bitch. No really.

She is an American Staffordshire Terrier (or so I've been told by several " Amstaff " owners - I always thought she was maybe a Great Dane / Chihuahua mix.)

Check back occasionally at the roobycam to see what destruction she's been wreaking in the last 15 minutes or so (hit reload to see the latest).

Peruse the nauseatingly endless pictures of her, as she goes from 25 pounds and near starvation to her fine new self. She was picked up in Contra Costa county by animal services, and was hours away from being put down when she was rescued by an amazing woman - Pali, from Rocket Dog Rescue.

Her name's actually "Roobarb", evidentally named after some manic brit dog from the animated series Roobarb (and Custard). (It wasn't my idea....)
